Shake The Lake, Hollywood's First Wakeboard Movie For the sake of brevity, I will just give you the basics. Back in August of '11 about 9 months ago, Zach and Machi Block were in Bullhead City, AZ promoting Elevated Clothing at Wake The Plank wakeboarding event. Sitting in the 100 F Heat of the night, their feet in the near icy waters of the Colorado River doing their best to relieve the sweltering night heat, the two dreamed up an incredible Feature Film involving a group of young friends/wakeboarders seeking the perfect and endless summer and living life to the fullest. Shake The Lake was born!!
Hollywood hasn't yet produced a wakeboard movie, and the Industry is alltogether ready for something to bring this incredible lifetyle to the mainstream audience. Not that we want our lakes more crowded with grom boat drivers thowing messy rollers on our buttery goodness, but ALL Wakers have one thing in common. We Love Our Lifestyles. Wakeboarding is by far the coolest Action Sport to enjoy... Sorry FANS of other pursuits, we love you too... but you can't get better than a summer on the lake with your best friends. All of the other sports have their movies... Out Cold, Grind, The Endless Summer, Blue Crush, Fast and The Furious, just to name a few. What about Wakeboarding... Isn't it our time?

COLLEGIATE WAKE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Eight schools from 5 states descend on Lake Las Vegas April 18th – April 22nd to decide who is number 1 in the nation.
Each team spent the fall of 2011 qualifying and preparing for the finals in the newest, hottest wakeboard destination in the country.
This “fountain of youth” spot of Lake Las Vegas has been sought after by some of the greatest in wakeboarding but until now, not one was allowed to enter the lake.
Thanks to the work of Empire Wake, The Aston Hotel and the great staff at Lake Las Vegas, this event was not only made possible, but generated a huge national buzz.
Each team will bring their 8 top riders to compete head to head in a bracket style format until the finals on Sunday April 22nd.
The final 2 teams will ride a best of 2 runs to determine who is the best team of the original 52 that began back in October of 2011.
The Collegiate Wake Championships are free to spectators and begin at 11am each day and end at 5pm. There will be giveaways, raffles, music,
and some special pro riders throwing down for a great show.
Local sponsor Boulder Boats will be on site as the official towboat with Axis Wake.
They are bringing in pro rider Randall Harris to sign autographs and demo for everyone.

We'll have a full summer of events in Arizona with Circus Rail Jams, We've got the Collegiate Wakeboard Nationals in Las Vegas April 18-22, and the the Alt Games Collegiate Wake Championship in Oklahoma in June. 03-17-12 We went and promoted at Sk8Wars today in downtown LA at the LA Event Center. Pretty cool competition; tons of skaters hitting huge ramps, a half pipe, and doing crazy drops. But as for foot traffic and FANS showing up to watch, it was basically empty. There were a ton of us vending... We made some great connections, but definitely don't feel we got the right amount of exposure. I guess we'll have to be a little more careful with how we promote and spend our money. Stay posted for all new events coming soon!!!
On the bright side, we got to see Anthony Mosely, and meet his AWESOME mom, author or Queen Pin (A very cool story of her life and coming to salvation in Christ, bringing her through drug dealing, prison, and lots of hardship).
03-17-12 If you haven't heard about Norway's coolest ski crew, Every Day Is A Tall Tee Day, it's time to check them out. Talk about a group of guys who love life, live it to the fullest, and pursue their dreams.
They're out shredding just about every day together and edit amazing footage. We've just begun working with them and couldn't be more proud.
